Frank Ferrer, MD, is an experienced anesthesiologist and pain management physician practicing at Lighthouse Wellness Center, located in Branford, Connecticut. Dr. Ferrer has been in practice for over 40 years, and he has spent 20 of those years practicing in Branford at the Connecticut Orthopaedics Surgical Center.
Dr. Ferrer completed his internal medicine and anesthesia internship and residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Before starting his private practice, Dr. Ferrer was also a member of the teaching staff at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA.
To stay up to date with the latest advances in his field, Dr. Ferrer maintains professional affiliations with the New Haven County Medical Association, the Connecticut State Medical Society, the Connecticut State Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He’s also a member of the Advisory Committee to the Department of Public Health on Ambulatory Surgery Centers and a co-founder of the Connecticut Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
To better serve more patients, Dr. Ferrer is also fluent in Spanish.
